Equi-First Aid USA began in 2007, after a group of Veterinarians and horse professionals identified the need for horse owners to have the same "first-responder skills" for their animals, as humans have for each other through their Red Cross training.
We provide Veterinarian-designed and monitored courses in equine health and emergency first aid, basic first aid for kids, advanced first aid, wilderness first aid, and our newest course - The backcountry horseman's condensed guide to equine emergencies.
We also offer training in disaster planning and emergency preparedness, safe trailering practices, and a specialized course for just for first responders.
We welcome everyone into our classrooms.

Our courses are recognized for continuing education credits with the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants, EAGALA, Equestrian Canada, various state associations of veterinary technicians, and more
